Palisades Elementary receives gift donation to help with programs

The Pearl City Shopping Center awarded Palisades Elementary School with a $1,000 gift certificate donation last month.

According to MyPearlCity.com’s Barry Villamil, the purpose of the Pearl City Shopping Center’s series of gift certificate donations are to help schools in the area with financial assistance for their programs during tough economical times.

Palisades Elementary is the one of three schools to receive a $1,000 donation from the shopping center for this current school year. Pearl City Highlands Elementary and Waiau Elementary both received donations at the beginning of the school year. Another donation will be made to Lehua Elementary School later this month.
