Diamond Head Theatre holding auditions for ‘Little Women, The Broadway Musical’

KAIMUKI – Diamond Head Theatre (DHT) will be holding auditions for Little Women, The Broadway Musical. Based on Louisa May Alcott’s novel, Little Women follows the adventures of Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy March as they grow up in Civil War America. The show is scheduled to run from December 3 to December 19.

The audition schedule is as follows:

Friday, October 15 at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 16 at 2:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m.

Auditions will be held in the DHT Rehearsal Hall at 520 Makapuu Avenue. Those auditioning should be prepared to sing; bring Broadway-style sheet music in your own key. An accompanist will be provided, and there are no transpositions on site (no tapes, karaoke, or a cappella allowed). Please bring appropriate clothes and shoes that you can move and dance in.

Perusal scripts are available at the DHT Box Office, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Scripts must be read on-site. The cast of characters and additional information are available on the DHT website at www.diamondheadtheatre.com.
