Walt Disney execs scouting for Hawaii vendors to occupy Aulani Resort

KAPOLEI—With the Aulani Disney Resort & Spa moving quickly, the Walt Disney Corporation is wasting no time making sure everything will be ready for opening day on August 29, 2011.

Disney representatives will be in Hawaii today, October 12, to look for potential vendors for the Kapolei resort. They will also be looking for vendors to fill national and international Disney Corp. locations.

State Representatives along with City Councilmember Todd Apo will be at a workshops today at the Hukilau Restaurant in the Executive Centre located at 1088 Bishop St.

The workshops will be from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and are open to all businesses, but are limited to 50 attendees per workshop. Cost is $20 per person.
