“A Winter Sing-Along with Uncle Wayne,” featuring “Uncle Wayne” Watkins, will be offered at the Hawaii Kai Public Library on Thursday, January 20 at 10:30 a.m. in the Meeting Room.

“Uncle Wayne” will inspire children to get up and move with him as he strums his acoustic guitar and sings a variety of classic children’s songs, as well as his original music.

Watkins, who currently serves as the director of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Children’s Center, is an Early Childhood educator and children’s advocate.

The Friends of Hawaii Kai Public Library is sponsoring this 45-minute program, which is recommended for ages three and older. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Contact the Library two weeks in advance if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed.

Hawaii Kai Public Library is located at 249 Lunalilo Home Road. For more information, call the library during normal public service hours at (808) 397-5833.
