Austin Zavala was raised in Kunia with a little hint of Kalihi. He graduated from Missouri Valley College with a Mass Communications degree with a focus on Broadcast/Journalism.  He likes the ocean, poke bowls, beer, music, volleyball, good times and positive people. He is on his continuous quest to serve all of the Westside, representing the area well as the West Oahu editor. If you ever see him around town, make sure to throw one shaka his way!
