UH President addresses state Legislature

University of Hawaii President M.R.C. Greenwood announced three new initiatives on Saturday to improve the university’s role as the state’s “sole provider of public higher education” at a joint session of the Hawai‘i’s State Legislature. It was the first time a UH President has ever addressed a joint session. Ka Leo O Hawaii’s Mary Reuter reports.
