The Samoas brace for the arrival of Cyclone Rene

Disaster officials in Samoa say the country is well prepared for a cyclone that may hit in the weekend. According to the last cyclone bulletin Rene is roughly 480 kilometres to the east, north east of Pago Pago in American Samoa. The cyclone is expected to gradually turn to the south west and accelerate to a category three cyclone. Radio New Zealand International reports.
